Powerplex to me was just a tragic case after experiencing Chicago after the Omniman v Mark battle, and many more like him are probably going through the same thing currently but without the means to do what Powerplex did. I do think he's a good man with a lot of mental health issues and a wife who fuels his bad decisions after he tries to stop, the biggest thing is that he wants justice (which would come from Omnimans imprisonment) but he'll never ever get that and at the same time the agency is telling people who want justice to kick rocks becuase what else can they do.

It wouldn’t make him feel better. It was highly stupid of him to do what he did, but I don’t just blame him, I also blame his wife for egging him on, adding more fuel to a fire that was already out of control, and putting their son in that situation. Now this dude got his own wife and child killed, whether it was his plan or not at the end. Between them and Mark, Mark is the only person I feel bad for. It wasn’t his fault but I understand why he felt like it was in a way. This story is great if not top tier, it really makes you challenge your decisions as a hero and do all you can to help. Somewhat different than what most people have already become accustomed to like with Marvel and DC.

If you don’t try and seek help and get your emotions right or find a way to push through the pain and anger, you could end up doing exactly what PowerPlex did. In this case, he didn’t. He put his trust and faith in the wrong person, which was his wife, who egged him on with what he was feeling instead of being rational and smart in the situation. And now, because of their stupidity, they got their son killed. And it’s his fault, him and the wife, who is a fault too and it cost her her own life too.

However, his grief evolves into self righteous revenge to prove he was right rather than any real justice considering the collateral damage he causes later in the ep.
