Heck, it took both him and mark to defeat the Kaiju. Earth is known to a bunch of superpowered abnormalities that defy just strength. The dragon mark fought heals instantly from marks attack, and even if he was holding back initially, he charged his last attack and it didnât accomplish anything. You have to kill the host. And I brought up the centipede before being literally born from earths core. Omni man would probably struggle against that creature himself. Nobody even beat them, they just left. I do get how frustrating it can be to see the MC lose all the time, but tell me anyone aside from a Viltrumite performs better than him. Immortal is probably the closest in comparison to markâs strength and got clapped by the mauler twins.

What is ironic is that youâre calling it bad plot but youâre just assuming Mark should be able to beat a creature with ease when clearly nobody could even damage it. Regardless, strength and durability are 2 different things. We see Mark get thrashed a lot of times but still recovers quickly. But the show is literally called âinvincibleâ not Unbeatable. The whole point is him earning that name as the show progresses. And obviously that means he has to lose a lot of fights. It also reflects his mental fortitude of being âinvincibleâ since he has to face struggle to even grow to that point.
