I love how from the start, when they raced it showed the mindset that Mufasa and Scar was raised by. Taka’s dad had the mindset that if you are king you are entitled to certain things. But his mom on the other hand off rip was like “He needs to earn it.”

2025-03-04 00:51:08 +0000 UTCMmmmm yk I get it now it’s 2 sides of the same coin at the beginning mufasa was the one drowning literally and figuratively trying to find his place in the circle of life dealing with losing his parents living with a father that wants to eat him and never really knowing how to go about his life and by Taka saving him that day he would’ve never figured it out down the line just like when Taka saved Mufasa that’s when it shifted and little by little he became scar because of his fathers bad teachings and seeing how gifted mufasa became living with the women and how Taka urned to learn from them as well but was forbidden and I can kinda see how he felt like he lost a mother as well then and started drowning more n more till that last nail hit where he just thought oh since I have the blood of the king obasi should be mine because I want her not realizing that’s not how it works and remembering his fathers teachings believed Mufasa betrayed and so he lashed out because he was still a kid he grew up with that same mentality but at the end the reason scar became scar officially is because he thought he lost every and every one but Mufasa’s always been there threw the good and bad so maybe just maybe he’ll forgive me and tried to sincerely apologize but Mufasa cut him off saying he can never say his real name again and worse down the line everyone called him scar but that conversation would’ve been Mufasa’s turn saving him this time and it would’ve turned Taka for the better had Mufasa forgave and realized how even though he wasn’t with them as long but to see how his father shaped Taka and said I forgive you Taka instead of letting Taka rename himself and shame himself he should feel that shame but he’s still your brother TAKA at the end of the day not your brother scar idk that’s my take on the situation no child is born evil or bad it’s the influences around you and whoever that biggest influence is mainly shapes your mental reality on how things should be
