I'm ONLY here for the nostalgia. Everything else can KICK ROCKS. BUT (and I bet Wellz feels the same way) I DO find it very interesting to know that there was more to this anime and more to this story than what I grew up with. If I was watching on MY OWN... Yeah, I'd be Hella down to check out the shit I never knew about as a kid, JUST to get the new experience. But, since Homie is showing HIS homies a cartoon they missed out on as kids, I get why he wouldn't be taking them through something COMPLETELY NEW to all of them. Say what you will, that's pretty much how I see it. Alone? Wellz would be down. But This reaction is much more than that. Do you get that? Do you understand THAT? This isn't about what's better or what's true to the source material... It's one friend sharing his childhood memories with his friends that missed out. And with that... We Thank You.

I don't care about either series except the last 2 GX episodes(I only care about Kazuki Takahashi's OG story) but they never translated the whole last season of gx along with like 30 plus 5Ds episodes in which again the last season is completely undubbed. This was due to 4kids lawsuits with N.A.S. and TV Tokyo over not pay those licensing fees. Funny because this was happening at the same time during the Konami vs Upper deck lawsuit over the real cards for the TCG(upper deck were making fake cards without Konami knowing).

That doesn't mean anything especially when even I knew back then as a child 4kids was on some bs. Pokémon is probably the only thing decent they did and even that they messed up because they caused a plot holes during the indigo league episodes especially by removing Episode 35.
