I love how they handled it but seeing how Robby went out was sad. Especially when you consider that he always be getting nerfed every season so he can lose.

2025-02-16 06:21:10 +0000 UTCYour missing the point of him losing the finals. It’s meant to a play on the OG Karate Kid and Daniel’s perspective of Sensei’s at the end of the episode. Unlike Daniel (both the underdog in the fight & they both took cheap shots to the knee) he was unable to continue his fight despite the intentional dirty throw, but the important part is that unlike Johnny he didn’t let this defeat define him and instead of focusing on what could have been, he focused on all the positives before that point and shows despite the parallels with Johnny he is own person and honestly better off than Johnny was after his defeat

That moment between him and Johnny is one of the best moments in the entire show, William Zabka managed to let us see that young Johnny in his face, as he told Kreese how he felt all these years. His acting was incredible! and the part where they bow to each other at the end was the perfect sendoff to that relationship.

2025-02-16 00:44:26 +0000 UTCI get what they wanted to do. The show is called Cobra Kai so they wanted CK to be the dojo that finishes it. Also Miguel and Johnny started it all with CK so they wanted them to finish it as well, but injuring Robby again so he can't fight is the same tired storyline they have been doing with him since season 1, and I'm tired of seeing it. Everytime he is ready to fight for a championship, he is incapacitated somehow, S1 his injured shoulder by Hawk, S4 he wasn't in the right headspace and practically gave the W to Hawk and now Axel breaks his leg so he can't continue, they be doing Robby dirty, but loved the scene with him and Johnny plus Johnny and Kreese even though I still hate Kreese, lol.
