2025-01-14 02:36:31 +0000 UTCSmall thing I think y'all missed was the reason he was so upset coming out of the gate was because of his frustration of failing to get Barca which I think they emphasized a little better in the manhwa but also not that important of a detail, just saying I don't think him leveling up is what's changing his attitude but more so the things he goes through before and after leveling up along with the added confidence of being stronger.

2025-01-12 08:20:16 +0000 UTCI get what you’re saying, but if you want a series to look great, the animation studio needs time and you have to remember Fairy Tail was it a weekly series back then and weekly series back then didn’t always look great. And you also have to remember that the first season of solo leveling was delayed an extra year so they had plenty more time, When a anime is Greenlit different studios have different time frames to when an anime needs to be aired and different animation studios have different working conditions as well. Solo leveling had years of production, so that’s why it looks so great

Solo levelling was 270 chapters and is allegedly 6 12 episode seasons, 72 episodes total. 3.75 chapters per episode. That means they spend less then half the time animating slow scenes and filler, thus you can put significantly more time/budget towards the important moments.

We're not talking about soon, we're talking about RIGHT NOW. He leveled up A LOT after he fought Igris and according to him (as of last episode) Igris is still stronger than him.

They somehow made the combat and actions in the fight scenes feel like how you would play a video game and an anime at the same time, where Sword Art Online only feels like a show about video games. It's only going to keep getting better from here too.
