2025-01-12 02:41:19 +0000 UTCYeah it's masterful, and the artwork is in the highest tier you'll see in terms of manga. The dark subject matter and brutality can get even more insane than the ending of the anime. So as long as you have a tolerance for it, I'd heavily recommend you check it out.

Even though he's an ass about it, he has his own unique charm of displaying affection. And there's several scenarios where his voice seems like the reasonable way to think/ approach a scenario for a normal person.

2025-01-11 23:20:01 +0000 UTCFor Berserk, you should do the memorial edition after this and skip the 2016/2017 version. I believe that version will leave an awful taste in your mouth. The animation is bad, with bad 3D and funky sound effects. Remember when you dropped Seven Deadly Sins? Think about that. Leave Berserk on a high note, Wellz can continue reading the manga, and then return once a proper adaptation comes. Might never happen but I am ok with that.

It’s basically Berserk 2022 and called the memorial edition after the passing of Miura and there’s a dub version of it as well. It’s the only other decently proper adaptation.
