Paul's always had cray high expectations for Rudy. Paul would say "things would've been different if Rudy was there". Their relationships always been kinda weird, or he'd say "Rudy was messing around at home and didn't show up for his mother".

Sylphie is in sharia the city and kingdom of ranao she is in a relatively good place with friends and family. Princess Ariel is there and shit. Rudeus letting his family die when he has the power is not a good choice. Yeah sure he has to protect his sisters but he has enough people in sharia who can watch over his family he is in a secure place unlike paul and his mom. Also rudeus is one of the only few people who has experience traveling and can go to save their family. Its not just about rudeus norn and aisha want their family rob is ignoring the fact that the family has more values than just rudeus. Whether aisha or norn are kids or not it be better for their developement if they grew up not parentless for obvious reasons. Norn's mom has been missing for 6 years they need their family too.. If rudeus could have saved them with his magic and adventure skills and didn't that only make it worse and only tarnish the family more. If his wife is in a safe city then i think its worth taking a risk its not like sylphie is giving birth in the wild west with nobody around. She is giving birth in sharia the magic city. Also if the trip is a year there and a year back the faster you go the less chance you have that your time being wasted and them dying when you get there.
