The thing about this game is the concept of it is heavily flawed and that's due to the stupidity of the higher ups of Japanese soccer, they wanted to prove Ego wrong about his claims that they don't know how to teach soccer and create great players, so they bet that their U-20 team can win against Ego's top Blue Lock players but in order to ensure the W, they enlisted the help of Itoshi Sae, who specifically left Japan to play soccer in Spain BECAUSE Japan's way of playing soccer was whack, they also allowed for Shidou to play for them, who is FROM Blue Lock, like you already proved Ego's point be relying on those two for the W, clowns.

Rin is based on Del Piero, and Sae is based on a Japanese up and comer named Takefusa Kubo. Very similar to their real life comparisons, but you gotta watch the video to understand. Nagi is apparently based off of Bergkamp (the master of the the first touch), and Oliver Aiku (2 colored eye guy with the D) is based on Van Dijk. Blue never fails yo 😆
