2024-11-25 02:47:21 +0000 UTCI wasn’t responding to you but rather Charles and also realistically Pernida was never going to be anything but CGI, samething with possibly Seraphim Lille and Giant Gerard as that’s clearly what CGI is for: Otherworldly giant beings that are meant to feel alien-like, everything else outside of that with this was up to par and compared to most other animes the CGI is good, also apparently the VA is Broly’s so he’s also good. It’s fine if you didn’t feel it but it’s not as bad as you’re making it out to be.

His whole concept is advancement aka evolution, part 2 he will sound more menacing as his voice deepens and speech evolves

The point of an anime is that it’s animated. Specifically well animated. The cgi is not, it takes away from the 2d scenes. So visual information and flow is crucial for conveying a story. Don’t attack my character just because you can’t handle anything negative. Strawman fallacy, I never said animation is all I care about. how is my attention span to the show lacklustre and how exactly does not liking bad cgi in an episode make it so? I’ve rewatched bleach 8 times and read the manga 3 times (TYBW too many times to remember). Or are you just using ad homs because you’re upset by my opinion? just apologise for the insults and don’t tell me what I should watch or imply what I should like, who are you to say this conceited nonsense.

It sided with the Soul Reapers - who are big on tradition, and maintained the Soul King sealed still in stasis for eons. Pernida, the left hand, is Advancement. Sides with the Quincies - who value innovation and efficiency above all else, and are trying to build a new world. Soul Reapers embody stillness and the Quincies embody advancement

2024-11-24 07:32:29 +0000 UTC- Zaraki's defeat is a proper indicator of the type of battle that is about to ensue, one that cannot be fought with simple power or might, a battle perfectly suited to a mad scientist. - The Left Hand governs "progress" or "evolution" and we saw that Ichibei used the left hand to seal away Ywach's "Almighty". Interestingly, it seems that the left hand (maybe through its ability to evolve) gained sentience and at some point sided with Yhwach and took on the name Pernida. Another point of interest is that Pernida was seemingly chained up, but we don't know who did it or why. - The voice actor for Pernida wanted people to pay mind to the change in his voice, he states: - “At the beginning of the episode, he has a baby voice. Then he starts spelling words, and with every passing minute, his voice deepens as he ages more and more. By the next episode, he's going to sound even better and complete his evolution." - As we all know Mayuri is a true scientist through and through and loves it in the way Kenpachi loves battle, so witnessing a foe who can evolve is an unbelievable dream come true. It's such a high for Mayuri that he's acting like a beast or fiend, expressing the same behavior that he often spoke down on. Mayuri’s BanKai was actually shown being created back in Cour 1 people often miss the little foreshadowing and nuances within Bleach (As said by Mr.Tommo, "Mayuri islosing himself, growing closer to danger, and like Icarus flying too close to the sun" which is fitting given the whole sun outfit he was sporting) - Sidenote: It's crazy that Mayuri just casually has tools that seem to be made out of people or souls Yhwach stole Pernida when Ichibei gave up the left arm to seal Yhwach’s Almighty, It wouldn't make sense for him to steal it if he couldn't control it. And if you remember, Yhwach was confused about the Soul King's right arm (Ukitake) fighting against him on the side of the Soul Reapers. Implying that the Soul King SHOULD be on his side. These are all little hints towards the Original Sin.

Be your own God” This is a milestone as the 400th episode of the series and what better way to celebrate it by focusing on none other than the mad scientist born to be a villain but forced to be a corrupted official & MVP of this War: Mayuri Kurotsuchi Kubo’s favorite character (as he’s always being one step ahead even when it doesn’t seem like it on the surface in poetic fashion) and a callback to Ep 44 when we saw the reveal of the 1st Bankai, now reborn into variant version- The Altered/Modified Bankai: Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō: Matai Fukuin Shōtai (Golden Leg-Cutting: Demonic Womb Covering Seal Symptomatic Body/Demonic Recumbent Womb) This takes the form of an enormous, heavyset, purple-skinned baby dressed in a golden loincloth and with golden fabric covering its pectorals. It has a misshapen head with completely white eyes, and its belly has a large vertical incision line in the center, on either side of which are the two parts forming the kanji for "Prostrate/Bend Down" The baby rests on a large pile of thick, visibly veined umbilical cords from which 2 branches grow on either side of the baby's head, each holding up a dangling, box-shaped lantern. In addition, a purple mist seeps along the ground that resembles the poison released by the Bankai's normal form. It can create modified versions of Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō (Surface Nerves) with the information and data Mayuri sends to it; this allows it to counter specific abilities of Mayuri's opponents. This modified Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō also shines with a golden light. The 70,000 layers of skin can also be a metaphor for Bleach’s foreshadowing. As for Pernida that’s revealed to be the Soul Kings left arm: It’s holy shrift is ‘C’ which stands for the ability ‘The Compulsory’ It can send his own nerves into the enemy's body and forcibly control their movements. Pernida's holy shrift was not a power given to him by Yhwach, but was chosen based on an ability that Pernida originally possessed.
