It wasn’t until the 2nd half of which was solely due to Kubo’s health and other factors that contributed to it being only simply rushed (not even necessarily being trash) and poorly received. TYBW’s anime thanks to Kubo in better health under his supervision is fixing all of that and then some anyways, which is why it’s being rectified & redeemed into the series best arc and possibly end up the best war arc in anime, at least out of the big3.
