He was joking with his superior, stopped at the bar first, and didn't even deliver the envelope properly even though he made it to the ship. He didn't take anything serious. Even when the older brother is remembering, you see that he's really doing all the work but somehow getting clowned on. Personality wise, the younger brother had more charisma and that's why he rose through the ranks faster. This was so awesome. OP world is just so deep and alive. So many people and places; It's cliche at this point, but the world building is nearly untouchable. Man, they really produced the hell out of this episode. Megumi Ishitani, what a beast! Would love to see her do the Ace novels. Great reaction from RTTV! I still remember yalls reaction to episode 1. It's epic that we're now here, this far and still going.

It was definitely a great take on knowing the same as the straw hats influence is the same with Admirals, as you can see there's good/bad marines (good cops and bad cops). Speaks volumes the Straw hats can influence pirates,marines, and civilians..

It isn’t canon technically, but The Fan Letter is obviously a masterclass through both its visuals and subtext— and a must watch for any fan of the series. It’s funny, though, because even if it was garbage, RTTV watching it would still be better than the alternative which is no One Piece upload at all. So yeah, people complaining about them watching this are “pick me’s” who wanna be seen/heard.
