All I'ma say on The Animation here is... IT FITS, goddammit. It's not the same 5 slides on repeat used in EVERY GAME (Kuroko), it's not visual UNNAPPEALING. It's just not a show that's being told at a pace to where the animation is allowed to breathe. I only commented this because the Flow of the show has always worked with the animation. They're all thinking, they're all giving internal monologs as they play. Thus, you NEED to stop every 2 seconds to catch people up to the mental game. Hell, even in REAL soccer/futbol you see people standing around, jogging slow, barely moving. It's the fact there aren't ENOUGH fully animates scenes that I can see the the complaints. However, all the little visual effects and details they add just to make it LOOK COOL is why I give them a break. They could do more, and they try to. It's either cut a lot of dialogue in the name of smoother animated scenes, or sacrifice animation quality to keep the story intact. If you couldn't tell... I actually LOVE 7DS. So, animation dips aren't the end of the world to me. 7DS got better as the animation got worse 😆

Hear me out... This anime proves that a Sports anime is so much better when it based in reality. It's EVEN BETTER when the characters are meant to embody actual pros and legends. If they made a Basketball anime and instead of a lame Kuroko type nigga, they made the main character a portrayal Allen Iverson. Specifically A.I because of his skills, his backstory, and his constant drama Throughout his career. The best part is, it ISN'T A.I. so you can change things around. What if he beat the Lakers with Philly? What if he went to Denver and he and Melo got rings... Tons of potential! Watch MAJOR (baseball anime) if you're a fan of Shohei Ohtani. It was the reverse, where Shohei became the character from the show IRL.
