Because Bleach is full of layered and nuanced writing. From poetic depth to themes to lore to symbolism to character writing etc The symbolism is important to the story of Bleach. Analysis videos are great to explain the lore, thematic depth and foreshadowing within the story, but also the symbolism that is being presented much of it goes completely over your head if you’re not paying attention. Which is why those videos exist and I wanted to recommend them.

Lore pretains to information about the show not related to fighting, for example what is a zanpakto or the soul king. Forshadowing is when lore is hinted from he beginning and answered later in the story. What you are taking about is different, cultural reference like for example the Arrancar, the Soul Reaper, and the Quincies. Quinces being german or having german inspiration is not the same as lore.

The symbolism, poetic and thematic depth, nuance, foreshadowing etc. all go unnoticed by so many which is why I recommend the analysis videos in the first place. Kubo does an amazing job tackling religion and philosophy in subtle ways. Aizen’s journey with the clear “god is dead” phrase was always representative of Nietzsche’s very own phrasing and his concept of the ubermensch and how Aizen strives for that Yhwach is the judeo christian god who is coming back, has a son/messiah who was born 2000 years ago who is both him and not him (Haschwalth), i mean Almighty, he is literally omniscient and through that omnipotent, and finally, he wishes to resolve the suffering of humans by creating eternal life. Buhhdist and eastern philosophy hinges on finding nirvana and freeing ourselves from the cycle as well as our lives finally coming to an end. And that how temporary things are are what make them important. And so many other principles that Ichigo PERFECTLY reflects when you also combine it with the very buddhist nature of the Bleach worlds (the literal realms of reincarnation for example) Kubo’s ultimate message in many of these is how the ideas derived from Buddhism prevail against these philosophies and face nihilism differently. In fact, at the core of it, Bleach is a story not simply about death but how to tackle nihilism, how to find purpose. this is how fullbring arc does it too, Ginjo represents a sort of anti-theism, pure anarchy perspective. every race/org of bleach represents different forms of hierarchy. Soul Society is feudal and reflects the underlying social hierarchies and philosophies of Japan past and present, Arrancar is natural order/survival of the fittest, xcution is anarchy/communism, quincy are fascists/self devouring Lore with Reio, Tokinada, the fullbringers/ Ginjo, ikomikidomoe, Hikone, squad 0, azashiro, Kuruyashiki, cien granz,, Roka, stagnation vs evolution conflict etc. So many nuanced conflicts get completely glossed over

We then have the 3 Ancient Weapons Pluton, Uranus, Posidon, all 3 are also planets and greek gods (Pluto/Hades,Uranus/Zeus,Neptune/Posidon). Finally we have Blackbeard who i assume is the darkness of space or the void in space. Only one we seem to be missing is the earth which i think is Imu, since Imu backwards is Umi which means ocean in japanese means earth or land is missing. Makes me wonder about that line about devil fruits in the begining of the series Vegapunk said about Devil Fruits when Luffy was fighting Lucci "Mother Nature curses those that eat devil fruits making them unable to swim", makes me wonder if that is related to Imu in anyway.
