It’s meant to give you information and set up for what’s to come. We only saw the ambitious tower climbers in season 1 and we still don’t even know what the tower is. We need the other side of the spectrum to get a better picture of what’s going on. Like it or not; these episodes will help make the story make sense. I look at it for what it is; necessary information that gets the story on track. Animation isn’t as important to me as the story and characters, and the small details can matter. Even the new characters that were introduced have a purpose. They were plain and nothing special, and that’s the point. This world is strange and has a lot of pieces that still haven’t been revealed so you must have episodes like this. Again everyone has their opinion…

Animation looks off a lot of time and typically the only reason anime has filler is because it’s adaption caught up too fast to the source material. Being as we waited years for this the season is highly disappointing. Filler in anime usually = bad sometimes it can add fleshed out moments but that’s not the case here. They are literally stretching out scenes to fill up the episode. Also mind you this is a seasonal anime no excuses why production was this chopped and produced this ass of a season. Manhwa still goated though I love tower of god as a series but season 2 is awful

Anime is full of fillers and episodes that may not make sense at first but it usually comes full circle in the end. I’m curious how it ends and where they’re going to go with this.
