Its also very different within the context of adapting manga to anime. I cant think of a single manga i’ve read turned anime that had some of the best moments in the manga not shown in an anime trailer, why? probably because they want to make it a spectacle, a surprise, something to look forward to. But again, even with the complaints, the animation genuinely is not that different than the first season, yet everyone loved it, so i still dont know why people are complaining when they’re boutta get the same thing unless they complained the first season too

Still framed action shots that look like a powerpoint slide. And the rest was literally dialogue, so of course they won’t animate a scene crazy when its just people talking. Like seriously, the complaints feel so unwarranted lmao, why tf would they show us the best moments of season 2 in the trailer.

Like ToG S2 😆 That (BL) trailer looked like the same ONE or two games and it was a bunch of "in-between" shots all the way throughout. I'm not arguing it looked "good". I'm arguing, as someone Who liked the way the Animation hit in S1 (despite the jank CG) , I saw no drop off in quality. Hell, the art looks darker and cleaner than before, so that's actually a win for me. The world of anime is only upset the Animation didn't GET BETTER. Not that it got worse.

The animation looks no different to me 🤷 On that note... MAD HYPE, SON!!! It's gonna fall off without World Cup hype behind it, BUT it's still the dopest Sports anime I've ever watched. And I've watched most of them. EDIT: FUCK AUTO-CORRECT 😤
