remember kids movies dont only have a kid audience. the parents often have to sit through these movies as well. a lot of the times they will try to write in comedy that goes over the kids heads and entertains the adults that have to bring them. thats why sometimes you see things that seem weird for a kids movie like the “foot size doesn’t matter” line. its meant to give the parents a laugh.
