She is paralyzed with fear of losing him again that she is now making mistakes and trying to control him and that's pushing him away from her right now. I 100% understands Polly's fear and trauma but I also agree that she shouldn't have tried so hard to find him and then allowed him to be in this business when she knew that eventually he was gonna get pulled into some dark parts of the business as they all have.

Not that she’s out of the lifestyle..but that she has released a traumatic event she suffered.. I don’t think that’s easy for anyone to carry.. being assaulted and murdering your assaulter… It's a video online that explains the episode too.
