The guy from the bar is claiming to be their brother but from what I understand the blacksmith's mother has to be a bastard born sister to the generation of Targaryen males that was wiped out, remember how Viserys became king: the longest reigning king Jaherys lost all his direct male heirs, casted a vote between his eldest living direct descendant his granddaughter Rhaenys and the eldest living male kin great-nephew Viserys. The guy from the bar claiming to be Rhaenyra's uncle is claiming to be D&V's brother but the blacksmith would be her second cousin because she's the kid of his first cousin...

But they may listen or not harm other targaryens likr with danaerys, and here with rhaenyra and also how daemon is able to chill with the other dragons and sing to them like he did last season.

Being that most of the great houses on the continent that to do have Targaryen blood are already pledged to the greens (who wouldn’t have thought of the idea anyway) BUT there are plenty bastards who do have connection to Targaryen blood by maybe only one or two generations apart! Hence why most of them have the silver white hair! Jace & the other two bros unfortunately just pulled the STRONG end of their genetics 🧬 and he now feels like his claim to the throne, will be even more Questionable! He just needs to remember who he is… A TARGARYEN!!!!

They have been since aegon the conqueror's time the last remaining pure blood Valeria house.(Targeryans ARE Velaryon, they are one of 20 pure blood houses and the only to remain). Though they could be WAY WAY ancestors of old pure blood houses, but that would be very very rare exp with how much targeryans fuck around. It's way more likely to be that.

Yes he loved his brother and Rhaenyra in the past, but he also murdered his first wife who was completely innocent, dismembered people as city watch commander instead of arresting them, joked about his brother losing his infant son, neglected his children and second wife while moping around about his inheritance, groomed his niece and smashed her at his wife’s funeral, etc. No matter how charismatic his actor is, this humbling was much deserved for Daemon as a character.

But if all the low born bastards of the family can get one now. then he feels his claim is as good as gone and any of the new riders can stake a claim. thats how i understood it.

When she was younger she was a rebellious mischievous kid and she grew up to be a rebellious woman. She did a bunch of fuck shit in kingslanding. I think Jaeherys sent her away to learn with the septas but she escaped and became a prostitute. Then she left Westeros to open her own pleasure house in Essos. This is one of many crazy things that happened to the old king Jaeherys, and of course he disinherited her because she tarnished the Targaryen name. King Jaeherys also had another daughter who had a bastard… that old man was driven crazy by his kids and more specially by his daughters 😂 In theory Hugh would be the direct cousin of Daemon, Viserys and Rhaenys. Baelon (Viserys and Daemon’s dad), and Aemon (Rhaenys’s dad) were brothers to Saera. Also : there are only 8 episodes in that season not 10

Vhagar is indeed the largest dragon during this time and it was Vhagar Wellz that was Queen Visenya's dragon during the conquest. Making Vhagar the oldest dragon alive right now. To Evan's point though, Balerion is the dragon Evan was thinking of that was larger than Vhagar and the largest dragon known, which was Aegon the Conqueror's dragon, but he is indeed dead by this time. Funny enough though, the last person to claim Balerion as their dragon was King Visery's, but Balerion died shortly after.

If any white haired Targaryen bastard can take a dragon, then why would anyone follow a dark haired one. He's also right that you can't just trust anyone with a dragon, you run the risk of them betraying you. But Rhaenrya is also right that they have no other option at this point. They are losing the war as of now and to even stand a chance they need an army and dragonriders. It looks like Daemon has finally secured the army, while Rhaenrya secured the dragonriders. Team Black is officially up!!!!
