The movie is non canon sadly. This is the only thing in the series besides ONE panel in the manga that can technically canonize it. The one Panel in question just has a picture of Nine’s back in it. The movies have always been in a weird place. Nobody actually knows if they are canon because the last time I read they basically said “well it’s sorta canon but not”.

The studio might not be the best animation studio or the one with the most budget. HOWEVER they did such GREAT job bringing this Bakugo scene to the screen from the manga I couldn’t be more satisfied.

What made the episode hit harder for me personally was lowkey if u think about it Bakugo was essentially getting a taste of what Endeavor has been trying to chase his whole life trying to close the power gap between them and One For All and realizing just how high that ceiling is to reach and the struggle to close that gap in power
