2024-05-29 19:53:53 +0000 UTCI think Zendaya and Jenna Ortega are both good. But like the scream movies and her in them (btw she is a Co-lead not the individual lead in it) was just ok. They both occupy different spaces. Jenna so far has had pretty limited range in her major roles. Zendaya has showed a lot more and clearly has been awarded for such. Given that she has gotten big roles in big shows and movie plus a LOT of actual awards . Comparing streaming numbers is also hard because of platform subscription volume and the fact one was a full release vs one being a week to week show.

She’s also going to be in Tim Burton‘s new Beetlejuice movie this september. She‘s basically the new Johnny Depp at this point lol.

2024-05-29 17:57:26 +0000 UTCas far as the writing for this show goes, Jenna Ortega had a huge part to play in that as well. she stood her ground towards the writers when it came to corny lines. she made sure it was as true to character as she could. i respect her for that. she is one of the best in our generation. can’t wait to see her win awards one day.
