2024-05-29 09:11:46 +0000 UTCJerry needs to shut up about choosing a favorite character especially when HE ALREADY WATCHED THE GOD DAMN SERIES BEFORE. Lucy isn't a bad choice either. Compare her to the other female leads (Battle Shonen) of that era (Rukia, Nami, Sakura). Even though she gets fanserviced way too much you can't deny that the character is there. She has intelligence (you guys wouldn't know because you skipped episodes which were canon throughout most were in the manga) Her development on her powers are shown throughout the series even though she's overshadowed but most of the main cast (so far) Her dialogue isn't annoying so long as you have context and not someone trying to make you hate a character (Jerry bitch ass) Her connection with all the characters and how she can forgive and work with them later. If you break down each series female lead (Battle Shonen) around when this was releasing you can easily get her to top 5 or 10

Letting Itachi go on a suicide mission to infiltrate the Akatsuki? Being dead? Makarov is out of his prime as a wizard but is still powerful considering he didn't train after the timeskip. He still has a bigger arsenal than the 3rd Hokage (Light, Giant, Defensive, Holy, Fire, Lightning, Wind, Ice, Requip Dispel, Telepathy, Flight) They may have similar jobs but it's two completely different series and environments were a ninja must never skip their training even in times of war. Comparing that to the usually peaceful country of Fiore. Who have deterrents like Face, Etherion blast (Space time nuke that can aim and complete wipe out a nation) and a bunch of other weapons at their command. Is it really fair or accurate to compare one to the other
