They've had since childhood while Lucy left her family mansion by the age of 16, that's around 6 to 7 years of battle experience over her And don't forget that it's not usually the case where the summoner is on the front lines like she is. Look back at her fights are you'll see how much she's developed, and how much she contributed to figure stuff out and progressing the story.

She has the cringiest comedy, some of her celestial spirits are just trash and let’s be real here, she’s the least useful when compared to gajeel, Erza, natsu and gray. This really is his arc even though most of the main squad also get moments like Wendy and Lucy. I think what’s great about this arc is the potential implications it brings. Grey becoming a demon slayer and vowing to kill End becomes a lot more interesting by the end of the arc
