Not only did she actually die but she failed in her initial goal to reverse back time to before the gate opened. Although she managed to save people it wasn't exactly as planned, it was a good twist and an excellent climax to her character arc!! put some respecttt

2024-03-24 06:03:50 +0000 UTCI understand not liking the idea of them going back in time immediately rather than us living through the deaths for a few episodes but this anime wasn’t really meant to be something dark. It's an uplifting anime with a lot of comedic relief but when they do sad moments, they can pull it off. If you want death and despair, wait till the next arc but again that isn't what Ft is at its core. I'd rather yall drop the show if you aren't gonna even try to understand what it's trying to do. The blind hate is lame at this point.

It's not bad it's just not what most people want. But it's a different series than naruto and op and bleach. It's its own show that separated itself from 100 episode arcs and 50 episode sword fights and talk no jutsu solving the world issues

Samurai Champloo, the 2nd half of MHA s4, anime canon boruto eps, jojos pt6 etc. If they got through those then I can't see them dropping this. Their main problem here is the lack of death which makes sense cuz they want that in everything, even in OP we've seen how upset they get when ppl don't die. Watching a bunch of new gen shonens has programmed them to think characters dying makes a great show

That’s a HUGE feat, consider she affected the entire PLANET. I get you guys are disappointed for whatever reason but unlike JJK and Chainsaw Man and etc, Fairy Tail doesn’t kill off its character just for shock value. No one is gonna die unless it’s for a good reason. (I.E Ultear.) I’ll say this much, as a Fairy Tail fan, it does NOT have the best writing in terms of its execution. The authors has great characters, villains, story lines and plot twist, but the way he executes them is where fans like you get upset. Now he does be cook a lot from time to time and deliver with good writing and fights and etc.(cough cough Tartarus Arc) But for the most part I personally believe the author focused too much on sexual appeal and fan service, cuz it feels like most of the budget goes towards Fan Service and not too much towards fight scenes. Like y’all said, Peaks and Valleys. I still love it because the overall message of the anime stuck with me. It’s literally the same message in every Shonen, only difference is that Fairy Tail emphasizes it way more than any other Shonen does. Naruto whole think was reestablishing his friendship with Sasuke. Luffy whole thing was maintain the friendship between his crew(n becoming King ig). HxH literally is about two little boys being friends and just journeying etc etc. Deku does everything he does for his classmate aka friends and to keep them alive while achieving his dreams. Etc etc, and I could go on. At the core of ALMOST every Shonen anime, the theme is because of friendship. Point is Fairy Tail just seems to make it the pinnacle of their show. Ngl idk where I’m going with this 🤣😂😭 point is, a lot of the animes are like this at the core they just have a better way of executing it to make it make more sense besides just “because my friends are here”. I get the message the author was tryna point out and I love it but he needed to actually tie that reasoning into a logical one. Cuz yes you do this for your friends or because of them but it has to be for a logical reason. Like for example, Naruto leans towards Kurama for excess power in order to save his friends, but literally sometimes you just hear Natsu say “I’m getting stronger because my friends need me” with no further logical explanation. When LITERALLY Natsu could have so many reasons due to his hidden powers. Anyways, trust, the show gets better(not that I think anything was wrong with today’s episodes, that’s on yall lol). Trust the process 🗿😭 plus The 100 Year Quest manga is fire so if they animate it and stick to the manga, that’s gonna lit too.

Due to New Gen Anime’s killing off characters for fun, their brains are just used to seeing character die so they get frustrated when it doesn’t happen in Fairy Tail. The lack of interest is clearly starting to show since everybody can see it. That mixed with most of yall issues with the show are going to continue throughout. (There is a reason fairy tail is never compared to the rest of the long running shows) I’d much rather you use the time for something better that you will enjoy. Like go put in Steins gate or something. I’d happily take that.

Characters have died in this show, not just in this episode, and there will be more significant deaths in later episodes. 2. An anime airing on Toonami (an American network) is not a proper gauge of its success. "Fairy Tail" is one of the best-selling mangas of all time, even surpassing "Naruto" at one point. 3. Jellal's character didn't peak as a villain; he's incredibly important in later episodes of the series and in "100 Years Quest" he has storylines that wouldn't have been told of he stayed evil.
