I was just looking at it from their perspective and why they probably thought Alibaba should have some degree of animosity/ distrust toward Kassim. Since Kassim and his group tricked him and committed 1st to 2nd degree murder on a seemingly innocent good man.

For Example, if my father was on his death bed with stage 4 cancer, then a burglar robs my house and burns it down killing him in the flames it does not mean I should not hold resentment. If anything, I would say its more so while his father was a nice man, he was estranged from him.
