People can turn the tide if they have a certain advantage or ability that can ensure them victory in the end. I wish more people understood this.

The characters knowing how to use their magic to give themselves the advantage in a particular situation is a huge part of the show. And Gray is the character that shows this the most. It’s not all about big boom explosions.

Cuz realistically, Natsu and Mirajane should’ve been all they needed to defeat ALL of those guys with medium difficulty. The Konan paper girl and the flower girl should’ve been taken out easily. The Bald weird country dude is lowkey strong but they could’ve speed blitzed his ass after they got used to his magic. The drunk dude should’ve been defeated long ago💀 Mira should’ve been able to speed blitz him. And the main dude should’ve been last. They only drag this out for the sake of filling in before the finale of the Grand Magic Games fights(which are peak). And then the other Arc that’s to come right after. Smh. They didn’t need to waste production on this fight imo. shit is terrible. One thing I’ll always admit is that the consistency of Fairy Tail(in terms of strength) is so out of wack. 💀
