Frieren ep 7-8

We meet some crazy blood demons!

Comments

"You think weld die from merely underestimating someone." Lugner is actually right. Draht didn't die because he underestimated Frieren. He died because she is stronger. Still, could be some foreshadowing there...

Someone teach jerry how to say frieren properly😭

The flashbacks in this series hit so different. I don’t think any other anime does flashbacks as good as this

Next two episodes are peak đŸ”„

Chris Justus

I love the take on Demons in this show they remind me of Vulcans from Star Trek. I also love the design of (not) Redhead Shanks in this episode.

Jamaal Ellison

Its fire that slaying demons is the only thing Frieren does quickly, while she takes her time on everything else.

Nah running was the right call. The town leader was injured and dying as well as the fact that one of the demons was still completely unharmed and had unknown abilities. They’d be taking a bigger risk trying to take them down especially with Stark himself being injured. Making sure the chief is safe was top priority in that situation.

Wolf

If I’m not mistaken that spell that Fern used took time to charge. She wouldn’t have been able to do that again with enough damage to kill both of those demons. It was a better choice to run at that time.

Rubin

Well I think that’s the key difference is that we consider them evil because of our assigned morals. But other species don’t work by our same morals. If we behaved like wolves we’d consider it immoral, but there is no concept of morality behind what they do to them that we’re able to observe. They’re not morally wrong as a species, they operate on a different axis of morality entirely.

Ty Stiles

oh dang. Completely read that wrong 😬😬 I thought there was some good in the demons. It's hard to grasp that an entire species of creature is considered morally bad. Like no saving grace or nothing

July

The child demon wasn’t doing that to “atone”, it was annoyed by the aggression the humans felt in the village. It has a transactional value on interaction, not moral. If I give them x, then they’ll stop doing y. It didn’t have the emotions for the remaining nuances.

ThunderousMacabre

Let’s get it😎
