Jellal was a member of the Magic Council, a Wizard Saint, and an infamous criminal. And right after using Heavenly Body Magic and Grand Chariot, using Sema is definitely going to tip a lot of people off. He already tipped off Jura with just the first one and if they weren’t basically allies that already would’ve been bad.

2024-01-20 04:13:23 +0000 UTCi mean isnt mystogan super mysterious tho. how many people have seen him fight. other than makarov, who knows about it, laxus who knows about it, ithink he may have been ok, no one wouldve known who it was, but i suppose the one judge WAS on the magic council. its hard to say if that would really blow his cover... but you have a point.... so then they woulda beat raven tail, fairytail b, and mermaid heel since they lost their battles. so fairytail A wouldve been in fourth.
