After all of the arcs that involve the guild as a whole, this one finally does it right since the other members actually serve a purpose and aren’t there for no reason.

Fairy Tail was always ass but this arc and forward is when people who weren't braindead fairy fanboys started to drop the manga. This is the turning point in which the author stopped giving a fuck and started to test the loyalty of even the fanboys themselves. Some people would occasionally come back to make fun of certain chapters that had some of the biggest asspulls causing some of the biggest shitstorms anime fans have seen in anime history. Naruto calling Obito ( a mass murderer) the coolest guy ever or Kinemon's fakeout death don't even reach the same levels of outrage the later arcs of Fairy Tail have caused. Like people were actually convinced the mangaka was trying to get his series cancel to work on other projects that's how bad Fairy Tail starts to get from this point on.
