Echo was raised by gangsters and criminals her whole life. After her father died, she even became an apprentice of Fisk who is the King of lying and manipulation. She is using his tactics to further her own goals, but I do like how she isn't lying to herself or anyone else about it though, like saying some shit like "I'm doing this for my family." No she straight up acknowledges that she wants to be Queen and takeover, it's a nice change of pace from the usual MC's within the Marvel Shows.
