Please read 100YQ if you said it doesn’t bring anything to the manga because it does Mashima literally wrote most of the filler arcs the eclipse arc was really entirely written from him yes they really could have not skipped this arc but honestly it was kind of boring besides a couple of scenes fairytail cannon is different and always will unless ur trying to be a manga nerd it matters if not then fairytail filler is cannon/semi cannon since powers they did in that arc or things they did usually get brought up or talked about in the some of the 100YQ chapters.

So when they do “asspull” it’s usually based on friendship or a new form of clothing that helps her. And she isn’t the main so they don’t show her training all the time

Avid anime and manga reader for fairy tail. One of the first Mangas I read and first time not knowing what filler is and I didn’t like that arc still. It’s not necessary. It actually changes nothing. They can go back and watch it. Same with the zanpakto arc, it’s great but doesn’t really further bleach and isn’t canon so they skipped it. Let me form opinions based on what the author intended and then go back.

I mainly just watched the Seis fights and that’s it! My favorite moment is when the magic council gets blown up in the next main arc!!

I know it didn’t happen in the manga, thus making it filler, but it did have some major influence on the show and it was a really good arc too. Don’t just stick with what was in the manga.
