Ted Lasso s2 ep 12

Damn alot of hate over Rob here I actually thought he was dead right with what he was saying. Sure Rob got a little heated, but from a realistic standpoint Nate was getting stressed by those losses and before Roy Kent came back as a coach Nate was the only one who seemed to have a mind for tactics so most of the work was on him in that regard. Ted was just really emotional support and did not really have a mind for tactics or even the rules of the game (as shown when he did not understand the off side rule), while Beard is there more to challenge the decisions of other coaches and (this is a bit of an assumption on my part) he really only understood tactics in theory. Like a teams mental health is important 100% and between Ted and the therapist they were doing as good as they could have been for a team on a streak of no wins. But they only seemed to get out of that streak with the tactics of Nate and the Discipline instilled in them by Roy Kent. But Nate being overshadowed by everyone around him while he himself was bringing out the winning tactics must of been really fucking with him. And then Nate does his fuckery which no one is saying isnt kinda pathetic but you can see where it stems from. I feel like this is what Rob was trying to say and people were talking over him. As for Robs opinions on Roy and Keelys relationship hes doing his villain shit and I love it hahahahhahahahaha GO ONE ROB YOU FUCKIN LEGEND you are peak entertainment!!!!!! I may be a month late saying this but damn the Rob hate made me feel like saying all this.

That's why I was confused when Rob said the problems stemmed from Ted's leadership, if anything under Ted's leadership he made the team feel more like a team than ever before. He was able to get Jamie on board with the program, convinced Roy to join the staffing coach, and most importantly he recognized Nate's talent and gave him the opportunity to be a coach. Like you said Nate's problems is his own and has nothing to do with Ted.

The other guys seem to be enjoying the story and liking the characters and Rob is just looking for something or someone to complain about. Maybe take notes and discuss them afterwards, the ending was completely ruined because Rob was going off. Also, Ted himself admits that he's not concerned w/ wins and losses, he's here to make this team better as people.

Nate is a POS. Nobody respected him before Ted got there. Even Nate accepted being everyone’s bitch boy. It was Ted that encouraged Nate, it was Ted that got him promoted, it was Ted that got him his first suit. Ted has consistently given Nate credit, but Nate got too big for trousers when the media called him a genius. At that point, it didn’t matter if Ted kissed Nate’s ass more or less. The fact that Rob is on Nate’s side, tells you who Rob really is. When keeping it real goes wrong.

Rob denying the fact that coaches ask teams what they think about how things are running on the field is where i stop listening to anything he says after. i literally played soccer and multiple instances they asked us how we felt about stuff and certain formations, other times they have something. in teds case he just doesn't know soccer, but thats why he has nate, beard, and roy. nate is the only one that think ted is a bad leader bc he doesnt know soccer. and everything the team has been through is not solely on ted.

Rob really be trying to ruin this show. Like Teams in all sports play better when they like who they’re playing with. Players all the time say how they play more for each other when you like who you’re playing with. Ted literally try’s to learn from everyone he surrounds himself with which is a good coach. Plus the team promoted bc of his good leadership and putting the right coaches around the team by adding Roy for example.

Ted has bad tactics he obviously changed so much for the better even Nate’s pussy ass life is way better then it was thanks to ted coaching is more than x and o’s like u said some coaches are like fathers to players he obviously is leading these men in something bigger than sports. I agree, my impression is he doesn't like Keeley because she's too independent. He was angry at her because the magazine didn't print Roy's pictures. That is out of her control and she even offered to call them and address it but Roy declined. I hope he approaches real life relationships differently. I have seen dozens of reactors watch Ted Lasso and Rob is the only one that has ever sided with Nate.

Ted is a good coach overall but the only thing you can critique him on is his knowledge of soccer. He's been there for his team and he actually tries to teach them autonomy and have them solve issues on their own which does happen irl. Plus like Evan was saying Nate is a grown ass man, he doesn't need to be monitored by Ted 24/7 just to feel special, he's just letting his insecurities about his family out on Ted for no reason.

Jamie telling her he loves her, Nate kissing her, the magazine not publishing pics of Roy..none of that is her fault. Also, she is not ditzy..she's actually very intelligent, as well as independent, kind, cute, and self-reliant.
