He hid the eel in his jacket, he pulled the grass out at the last second when nobody was looking, he scratched the dragon under the chin while blocking Astrid’s view, etc. Notice that nobody ever remarks on these methods or asks how he learned them. The entire village is under the impression that Hiccup is driving the dragons back through intimidation as a warrior. They all believe he WANTS to kill dragons. So, from their perspective, Hiccup throws down this shield and declares out of nowhere that he’s siding with the dragons. I usually don’t mind when people miss a plot element like this, but y’all argued about something that wasn’t even happening right through the biggest character development moment of the whole movie. Lol

Since this movie came first of course so some people think the dragon chase scene of House of the Dragon was inspired from this movie. I mean I’d totally believe since when I watched that scenes I too automatically thought of How To Train Your Dragon lol ❤️

2023-11-19 06:47:44 +0000 UTCI glad you guys watched this after Kung Fu Panda, DreamWorks really does not miss with trilogies so I'll be interested to see you react to the next two, the story animation, score, humour all get better with each movie, the second one may be my favourite but the third's visuals are stunning. I would love to also see you check out more animated movies especially from DreamWorks like: The Prince of Egypt or even Sharktale and Madagascar😂
