Then Superman asked "But what if your the one that was a global threat? What's the contingency plan for you?" Batman replied "The Justice League". Which he believed, that if he ever flipped, they could stop him.

A large subset of the fandom just collectively decided this was the case even though it isn't. Only one character in this series has Saiyan like Zenkai boosts and it isn't Nolan or Mark.

If all of Mark's fights were easy he'd never be able to overcome an opponent that's exponentially stronger than him. So in turn Mark getting his ass beat a bunch of times is high key making him stronger. They're literally like Saiyans.

2023-11-11 06:48:59 +0000 UTCI do think Cecil is genuinely trying to help Mark, but just like Mark and Debbie Cecil is dealing with his own issues left by Omniman. He's not going to trust Mark 100% and him getting that recording of the sea beast screeching and it doing damage to Mark shows he's planning contingencies for the worst case scenario, which is understandable imo, but ideally he wants Mark on his side because he can be a great asset.
