It's extremely sad how much hate bleach gets and a supposed fan of the series bashes it. tybw/bleach in general animation is goated and like @Z Warrior said tybw animation clears jjk animation which is a fact. @Z Warrior is correct in every aspect. apparently all you wanted is fluidity. the toji scene and ofc sukuna v jogo was great but the other scenes looked very weird and choppy, so this animation was far from perfect. its similar to how people complained about naruto v pain which yes, the animation was beautiful - it was a bit sloppy and too fluid. in this case jjk wasnt too fluid but the characters looked weird, for example panda. og bleach the episode when Ikkaku uses his bankai against Edrad. that WHOLE episode was way better animated than this episode of JJK and that's facts, the characters didn't look mad weird. bleach animation was ahead of its time. only thing jjk animation advantage has over tybw is MAPPA being a much newer animation studio plus jjk being a newer gen anime ofc the animation will be stellar from the start of the series until now but even then like I said TYBW animation clears, but your opinion.

Bleach has always been about fluidity, the best moments/fights have the most fluid animation. Thatās not a coincidence, thatās because it looks good. Grimmjow Vs ichigo (immensely fluid w little talking interrupts, same w Ulq fight, aizen fight, the entire reigai arc being ridiculously well animated despite filler, byakuya Vs ichigo. The best and most popular moments were the fluid fight scenes. I also never claimed that bleach viewership factually dropped in cour 2 because of animation, thatās a given to me since animation drives retention viewership along w story and characters. Mainly characters and animation since JJK story is mid. Just like how you cant prove bleach dropped due to the hype being gone other than your own subjective axiom. Yet mine makes more sense and is most arguments people make on MAL for dropping cour 2. My brothers stopped at ep 9 because the fights were all talking w reveals and barely any fluid fight animation.

Well animated fights in cour 2 consisted of Mask de Masculine Vs Kensei, Rose and Renji, Rukia Vs As Nƶdt and especially Kenpachi Vs Gremmy and the best part is they managed to keep the art of the characters on model, as well as not overworking their employees behind the scenes with it being a healthy production. I think we should be more appreciated of that.

Hence why itās kinda boring. Cour 1 did it really well with yama Vs royd lloyd, ichigo Vs yhwach and retsu Vs kenny. Yet cour 2 severely lacked this quality. Hence why it was boring to watch them talk more than fight. Which is why bleach hasnāt done aswell as cour 1 in viewership.
