When Sukuna opens his eyes and then the screen goes black, he opens them again, looking surprised. In the manga, there's a clear interrogation mark in this speech bubble because he too did not understand wtf was going on. Awkward angles with choppy animations at certain points in this ep HOWEVER when the animation did hit it stride it was PEAK loved the light and texture in this episode. OST choices could’ve been a bit better imo to make it more intense. Fight peaked when they got into the bathroom. Everything before that looked inconsistent as far as fluidity and motion of the characters. 8.4/10 episode for me. Not the best fight in the series IMO todo and yuji vs hanami still my favorite fight in the anime. Also like yuji and nobara vs the brothers better than this as well. Is this anime fight of the year? Na zoro vs king still take the cake for me. But well done mappa!!! Hopefully it stays somewhat consistent to this moving forward bc it’s nothing but smoke here on out.

choso wasn't even really fighting with his hands till they got in the bathroom. kakashi and obito was straight hands and little to no dialogue the whole fight. choso mostly used his blood and yuji dodged and was tryna get hits on him. i do agree with rob as far as the location and scenery was better but not the fight itself. the flashbacks within the fight AND the story behind kakashi v obito is what makes the fight great, so yes rob the impact of the backstory between two characters can make a fight better and impactful

It was a better fight visually, the Kakashi vs obito fight artstyle was flat with practically no shading not to mention the Kamui dimension is kind of boring as a background. 2.
