As far as Kenobi, they wanted (want) to do another season of that too, but problem is it wasn't received as well as they hoped. Far as Ahsoka goes, from my understanding, they wanted to do a second season if the first season did well, and if not, they would tie what would have been a second season into the movie that Dave Filoni is doing. The plan is that they want some of their SW shows to tie together and lead up to the movie sorta like Marvel did with Infinity War but with Thrawn instead of Thanos.
