You Wonder How They Never Get Tangled (NSFW)

After writing the title of this one, I figured I might as well explain just HOW the Doru manage to never really get their tentacles tangled. It would seem only logical that so many tentacles might get all twisted up amongst each other. How would the Doru get out of such a mess?
Well, the Doru tentacles that emerge from their backs have several unique qualities (most of which will be explained later in the comics). Among those qualities is the ability to phaze in and out of things. The tentacles are composed of ectoplasmic energy (I totally got this idea from Ghostbusters), connected directly to the soul of each Doru. The tentacles can become solid, soft and squishy, or they can completely phase through things like a ghost. This explains why the tentacles can emerge from their backs without any holes, yet they can still interact with the physical world.
Oh yes! The energy in the tentacles can also help the Doru float.
