Besides that, sales mainly have to do with the manga, not the anime which was always more popular, mainstream, and more successful than OP’s anime until Wano when Bleach wasn’t even around for the most part. I’ve gone and been throughout all of the Internet, and even outside of my algorithm, what I said still applies unless you live in either Japan or certain eastern countries which is where the rest of those sales come from. That’s the actual facts of reality here. And if Bleach got the 4Kids treatment, it would still have made it into the mainstream and big3 much earlier than OP ever did simply due to it’s more appealing art style, mature tone and shorter length as easier to get into which is how many to most of these NewGens appeal to more people.

Orihime being the reason the hogyoku awakened early, saving many characters, restoring zangetsu so he could beat yhwach with the help of others.. being sidelined for the previous stories is irrelevant for her involvement since i just explained how she is the reason kenpachi is weak and the reason why he regains his powers. These are all crucial crux's to the story. You mean like yhwachs distaste for the state of life, being the son of the soul king, his father imprisoned for millions of years, wanting to remove death and so on, aizen wanting to build a world in his image believing he knows how the world should be. Have you even seen bleach. The reasoning isnt bland, wanting to change reality from your exitential views is far from it.

There are many things with certain Bleach fans I don’t agree with usually regarding power scaling, or saying that it’s better than the best critically acclaimed series to which I disagree since it’s not even my #1 favorite or even objectively speaking. It’s just simply amongst the best and I can recognize it’s flaws. I don’t agree with any “arrogant takes”. Never said it was anime of the year, just that it owns August which it did. Anyways being the most watched only equals being the most popular and once again Popularity =/= Quality. Late 2021 is when OP finally managed to become part of the mainstream anime map here throughout the west going beyond just simply being popular like how it was for it’s first 20+ years in Japan and certain eastern countries, you probably think this is me “downplaying or hating” again but that’s just the objective reality of it. The 4kids dub did more damage than you’ll ever know and it’s earlier art style/animation + goofy town for the most part just weren’t for most people and still isn’t. More people know and appreciate it now more than ever before but there are still many other things better than it that you must accept on a critical level, even if it’s your favorite. Yamamoto really needed to listen to this guy more. I love Ikkaku and Yumichika. They're pretty much fodder at this point but I respect Kubo for putting them to work anyway. They're still able to have an impact on the plot. Kubo was definitely kinder to his 2nd tier characters than Kishimoto was. This season has been a slight disappointment for me, but I'm still enjoying it.
