Do you think after the wado crossed swords with zoro for the first time it chose him and then cursed and killed kunia the very next day? I know the wado was never described as cursed but It was kind of implied in that flashback episode.

Laughed etc a lot more than the actor. Also Usopp's actor a lil too chill/soft spoken for Usopp sometimes. Sanji and Nami nailed it for me tho, supporting cast pretty much all nailed it too.

If they used green screens we could of gotten more areas in the show but wouldnt of looked as good, all the ships are actually built too not cgi

Although I have to say that the early reveal in the live adaptation surprised me too😂 But I didn't like that Garp was the one chasing them. Imo it should have been Smoker. They focused way too much on Garp, Koby and Helmeppo.

Same thing that happened with Usopp happened with Luffy and his eating, Nami with her anger when she hits the guys and her loving money, hell same thing with Zoro to a degree. They gotta tone it down because real people aren't like that.

It's very different from the anime but that is fine because they kept the same vibe and heart one piece has and you can tell they put a lot of work into this. It's weird at some parts but the good stuff out weighs the bad by a lot. As long as non one piece fans liked this show, it definitely did it's job.

I agree with some of the structural and logical fallacies of the show, but not including things that serve 0 purpose isn't a valid criticism. Zoro still fights a disadvantaged duel, and Kuro is still menacing and scary with his pussy-foot move. Showing him blindly attacking random people isn't critical to the tone or narrative.

Neither does not including the trump card attack of an enemy that would take maybe one or two minutes to do that couldve been put instead of garp and coby playing chess for like 3 different scenes. If we saw buggy's chop chop cannon wouldnt it make sense to see kuro's big attack? Instead he doesnt look threatening at all when fighting luffy and just stands in place t-pose style to take the attack like albeda. It's ok to admit they're making some things derp. Like Zoro getting knocked out with a bottle, and them not finishing the job and just assuming he got killed from that. So dumb. I understand your point but it doesnt apply to all I'm talking about

Anime and manga have a different format for a reason, and are mainly intented for children and young teenagers to enjoy before or after school. The Live action stays true to the important parts of the original, but adapts it in a way that's accessible to people who aren't really into anime and manga.

The zoom out where it shows the pirates on the beach, the two cat underlings, zoro, luffy, and kuro all in a straight line is so iconic. Also where tf is the hypnotist. They didn't even do kuro's lit sway side to side attack. Like how do you not include that??? I'll give credit where it's due the episode as a standalone was alright by tv standards but they're definitely messing up some parts. I'm not gonna blindly like something just because the creator has given some kind of thumbs up. Now imagine if that wasn't the case or he didn't say it publicly. Now all of a sudden people would hate this

No but seriously it would be cool to get his input on the show, even though 95% of the time with the anime he's just putting on a show, lol. So far the most unrealistic portrayal of this Luffy to me is that he hasn't asked not NEARLY enough people to join the crew, lol. I think they really nailed the casting for the show and Zoro's flashbacks this episode were actually really well done and well placed. Even though I am fine with the changes, I will say I do believe the Garp reveal happened very fast.

There’s no way we’re getting the whole story and knowing Netflix I would give it four seasons so water seven is probably the farthest we’re going if I had to put money down.
