Tony is more self made than Steve in terms of powers but what they said about him being selfish is true in some aspects, ofc we all know they build on this, Cap on the other hand got made by a serum but he would never have been in that position without the displays he put on during the camp, also have to remember the dude was willing to die to make to save a city, selflessness

2023-09-07 23:00:17 +0000 UTCWell aside from what I've already said about Loki's character writing, I HATED the "everything in Phase 1-3 happened bc He who remains (Kang) allowed it to" plot. That to me killed the MCU, bc it meant that every sacrifice, every heroic moment, everything that characters like Tony, Cap, BW, Thor, Hulk, did up to Endgame was not because they chose to do it. Tony didn't sacrifice himself to beat Thanos because he CHOSE to do it. BW didn't sacrifice herself for the soul stone bc she CHOSE to. None of them became heroes because they CHOSE to. Loki didn't sacrifice himself to try to save Thor bc he CHOSE to. No they all did it bc some random guy in a mansion at the end of time decided THAT was the correct way things should go. That decision removed all agency from the characters, and basically told us that phase 1-3 was for nothing. The Infinity stones? Yea they weren't actually a threat. They were only a threat bc he who remains let them be a threat in our timeliness. They could've very easily have become piwerless paperweights tho. It was a horrible writing choice that destroyed MCU Canon imo. On top of that, the show was just boring overall. But that's something I could've gotten past had it not been for the main criticisms I mentioned above.

Like the gang said, wish they did more with Hulk and it's a damn shame. He's not even really in Endgame, it's just him in the Hulkbuster suit which is so tragic.

Secondly, him bmgetting hitched by Thanos makes sense. It's fucking THANOS. The main villain of the Infinity Saga. Everyone was scared of him. And he didn't bitch Loki, Loki still stood up to him when it mattered. But in the show, he not only was getting kicked in the nuts over and over, getting pushed around by that fat cop for no reason, He was literally somehow inferior to his female counterpart and even was hiding behind her in the final episode. He went from being a villain that was always more clever and 10 steps ahead of everyone else when he needed to be, to being a bumbling idiot cuck. But hey, that's just my opinion, so don't pop a blood vessel getting so ass blasted over it lmaoo.
