Sieun definitely needs friends to help him heal from the trauma, guilt, and loneliness he’s been carrying since last season. And as Ryan mentioned, those guys are really his only real options right now. That smirk during the eating scene was probably the first time he’s genuinely smiled in over a year. It’s just unfortunate that the same thing from s1 seems to be repeating itself. Even with these new potential friends, there's still the issue of Eunjang not being part of the Union, which creates the same tension and divides. Sieun, and honestly, all of us watching don’t want to see him go through that same pain and drama again. Still, the chemistry within this group is just too good. They work so well together that I can’t help but root for them to all become real friends.
