2024-12-06 11:38:21 +0000 UTCjust like the previous manager said to chang sung in ep 2, hotel del luna and Man Wol's ways and rules cannot be explained by the logic of human world so its unfair to judge them by trying to understand it or parallel it with human world rules/logic. we are literally talking about ghosts, grim reaper, God, afterlife, 1300 year old 'deity' who is synonymous to a tree. dealing with the living world and humans is not man wol's business. she will not and cannot interfere in the working of human world unless it coincides with the supernatural world/limits. and what fair and unfair, just and unjust, punishment and blessing, when it comes to a world beyond living, its an entirely different metrics. when Man wol decides to take things into her hands and deals with a situation, like that rich girl, ofcourse she is not going to be 'solving' the murder, trying to gather evidence and file the case with the police. a huma would do that, and it would be an investigative show. she dealt with it the way a supernatural being would. its not even about being just or not, being good or not. she interacted with humans but you can't mess up the flow and free will. she didn't do anything, the parents did. she stated to the parents in very clear terms that they have two option, either punish their daughter for what she did or burn the evidence and buy her silence. the parents made the choice that was morally wrong, so they got punished by being the once destroying the monster they created in their arrogance. the girl was punished by literally disappearing, no reincarnation, nothing. the girl who was murdered, was given a second chance on life with a rich lifestyle as reward and payment who her sufferings and injustice but she will also suffer the consequences of her choices. she will have to live the rest of her life int he body who the girl who tormented and then killed her, look at that face in the mirror. live as daughter of parents who in their arrogance created that bully. thats how the higher beings, the system of karma works. its not just a human world where you go to the police. they were punished spiritually you could say, cause a higher being is punishing them.
