I have never seen someone so much in denial so late into this drama like you guys, it's really funny. Last episode was the clear sign that Junghwan missed his shot, he was late to the concert and also played of his confession as a joke while leaving his ring behind (sign for him letting his first love behind). But the clearest sign was future Deoksun saying her husband doesn't like interviews. Anyways I'm really enjoying this rewatch with you guys, love your energy! I recommend rewatching this at some point, I'm sure your views on the show and the characters will change during a rewatch, it was the same for me

It's okay guys getting fooled by the writer about who is the main male lead is the best part of watching Reply series!!! Even if you watch other Reply series, guessing who will got girl at the end is the main event of it so being confused is a normal phenomenan🤣

Every story of finding a husband leads to JUNG HWAN's story So I couldn't believe that her husband was Taek!! In one episode, Dong-ryong asks her. "What is your favorite?" She also says that she can choose from people who like her, not those who like her. It was an episode that was a big key to finding someone Deok-sun liked. And in a few episodes, Deokseon gradually realized how much she loved Taek. And she chooses who she likes. It's sad, but before that, her friends said JUNG HWAN liked her, so Deok-sun was confused her mind about him.

There are actually some hints that made me soon sure the husband is Taek was that the husband smoked (Taek was the only one to smoke); the husband dressed lightly in winter, is left handed, clumsy just like Taek. Furthermore, they are interviewed so the husband must be famous, who else but Taek? I appreciate Junghwan, but clearly Taek definitely deserves Deoksun. Taek and Deoksun got together because they love each other, not because anyone stepped back or gave up. He is sincere, decisive, brave, persistent, honest with his feelings, willing to sacrifice his career (cancelled the match which he had never done before) for his love, and he always loves, protects, pampers, compliments, encourages, and treasures Deoksun. This is what Deoksun, a girl with too many insecurities, needs. And Taek needs Deoksun too. She's the one that taught him what he needed in life. Ofc, Deoksun loves Taek. She had always cared for him and he was constantly on her mind. Also, most importantly, she is always happy and feels safe around Taek. So it had always been Taek for her since the beginning, whether she acknowledged it or not, whether who was the one to confess to her first. They complement and complete each other very well.

There were many hints about her husband given in early episodes.. And Yes the "future" scene was confusing if you didnt know about reply series before this. but if you pay attention to the dialogue you will definitely find it. -The first hint and also an important hint given in episode 2 deoksun's husband is a smoker. Junghwan doesn't smoke.. he even thinks everyone is a good person as long as they don't smoke. So from the start junghwan was out of the list of candidates for deoksun's husband. - And about The bickering between old Deok Sun and her husband is the only behavior that is unlike Taek and Deok Sun. But then things can change after marriage, younger Taek definitely doesn't tease, but take note that Taek has learned to tease Deok Sun over the years. Notably in the scene (episode 18) when Deok Sun tells the gang she is popular elsewhere, and Taek asks: “Where is elsewhere?” It's also curious that instead of asking Jung Hwan for beer, she asks Taek instead, and gets told off she can't drink because she has to drive them all. -and the newest clues from episode 18 also the Biggest clue is about Interview and Publik Image. We must first consider why is Deok Sun being interviewed in the first place?—Is it because she's married to a well-known national celebrity? At that moment, we see no reason for Jung Hwan & family to be involved in an interview. Moreover, Deok Sun's mentioning of Husband disliking interviews, that is totally Taek.

No is not..... Shin PD never change his story.. Taek is the husband from beginning. What do you mean Taek popularity? Yes bogum became so popular back than but the fandom deoksun and junghwan more bigger than fandom Taek and deoksun.If Shin PD want change "the husband" because the popularity he will change the husband from Taek to junghwan, but he didnt because he has solid scriptnya. Reply series is not type drama that you can change the script so easly.. reply series always has "reason" behind everything. Shin PD didn't prepare reply 1988 for morethan 3 year to they can change the "Husband" in the end in drama. Shin PD never break the solid pattern from "husband hunting from reply series". if you watch all reply series (reply 1997- Reply 1994 and Reply 1988).. you sure understand about the pattern that Shin PD make ONLY FOR THE HUSBAND. and like Yoon je (Reply 97) and Sseu Re Ki (Reply 94), Taek absolutely follow that same pattern.

Deok sun and Taek have the best slow burn love story, they’ve had old married couple energy since the very beginning He literally melts every time he sees her, always tells her she looks pretty, always treats her like the girl she is, unlike the rest of the group. She is exactly what he needs, teaching him to defend himself and set boundaries, telling him is okay to lose, taking care of him, etc. It’s been like that since they were kids, we’ve seen them have MANY romantic moments that build up to them getting together: the beach day, taek guarding the bathroom door at the restaurant when the flasher scared Deok sun, him hugging her many times, when she took care of him in China, the concert scene etc. Also, the most important part, Taek knew he wanted her and acted on it!! He pursued her and was very vocal about his feelings (telling his BEST friends), he is THE MAN Deok sun deserves!
