I believe the princes can also have multiple wives just like the king, so the 8th prince must think it's normal to be attracted to Hae Soo, even though I agree with you guys that it's very disgusting from nowadays' perspective. I hate it too. She's even his own wife's cousin... I believe its a deeply rooted thing in korean culture having to do with praying to Mountain Gods. I guess nowadays that doesn´t matter as much but still the tradition of piling stones and wishing for good luck or stuff still remains to a certain extent (Information is based on my Kdrama history lol Please correct me if I´m wrong)
