2024-08-21 23:35:30 +0000 UTCI think we all had the same reaction while watching ep1 of s2 for the first time, but dont worry it gets better and better!! Also I absolutely love the parallels between s1 and s2: the chicken scene you guys noticed, mudeok meeting uk for the first time and threatening him with a crab leg and then buyeon threatening uk with a fire poker during their "first meeting", Naksu's line from seson one "wherever I go heads roll to the ground" changing into "wherever I go heads turn around" in season two, mudeok running away from brothel while being called a thief by Juwol in ep1 and then buyeon doing the exact same thing in ep 21 etc. There're so many details that are hard to notice while watching aos for the first time, but it makes it super fan to rewatch!! Oh and also I don't think you guys noticed but if you go back to 1:18:30 when Uk hits the table with Naksu's sword there's a small hint there as well, that's all I'm gonna say :]

I had so many questions like who the hell am I rooting for here. But it’s going to clear soon. Jank uk all powerful is so satisfying to watch. Like it’s sad to think about his situation but it’s still cool to see his power. And the puppy eye buyeon is so different from fierce naksu from season 1 ep 1. To think that they both played by same actress

2024-08-21 10:19:30 +0000 UTCthe wedding off was called off for a reason actually, in season 1 last spisode when danggu and choyeon were fighting naksu, for few seconds danggu wins the fight and had the chance to kill naksu. if you check the scene at 1 hr 5 min 40 to 55 seconds , around that time. right before naksu kills the dad. Choyeon even yells at danggu to kill naksu but he hesitates because mudeok is his friend and his best friend's lover. because he hesitates , she fights back and kills the dad. so choyeon is mad and cancelled the wedding.

2024-08-20 21:55:01 +0000 UTCI think another reason why Jang Uk hunts soul shifters besides the fact he has the ice stone (which can help him sense sorcery I think) but because ppl blame him for Naksu going wild and killing ppl. He hid her identity as Mudeok so he's responsible for her. That's also why Danggu also is awkward with him. Also, S1 left off in a cliffhanger with Mudeok being taken out the lake, so this S2 will continue from there at some point but they wanted to portray how impactful the event was at the end of S1 for it to change so much of this world we knew so well in S1 with 3 years passing and the lack of mages studying as they used to and the severing of ties of the different regions and leaderships, etc. Also, Ryan is onto something about Naksu and Buyeon souls. And Tiana, I agree, it's like bright/hopeful Jang Uk switched with pessimistic/dark Naksu in this season (like personality/role switch lol)

Everyone is not gonna recognize her bcs to them naksu was a terrifying assasin, but this naksu (now buyeon) is a beauty cutie pie🥰 (Also, Janguk got even more hotter😫🫣) There is this one line Buyeon said that she turns head wherever she go. Meanwhile in the first ep of s1, Naksu said that she kills head wherever she go. The difference😆
