It's been a slow build but I'm almost done sharing photos from this shoot and there's no better way to wrap things up than with a nice soak!

At this point in the photo shoot, Dan and I had pretty much gotten all of the shots out of the way that we had wanted to capture, so I spent the remainder of the night in the bathtub trying a few different poses.  The majority of these shots are actually somewhat natural candids, as Dan was positioned across the room and I wasn't always sure when he was taking a photo.  I just tried to relax and keep moving in subtle ways to give him a variety of options to shoot.

There's a quiet contemplative nature to these photos that I find appealing, almost as if I was deep in thought about something that was bothering me.  That feeling definitely falls in line with the aesthetic and narrative Dan and I were going for with this shoot, even if I don't remember what was on my mind at the time.  Knowing me, it was probably something far less interesting than these photos might suggest!

There are only a handful of photos left from this shoot to share and I'll wrap things up in one last post later this week.  It's been quite the ride going back through all these photos five months after the shoot.  I'm looking forward to closing this chapter and show you what's next!

See below for a ZIP file of all 6 photos if you'd like to download them. I've created 2 separate ZIP files to make the download process a little easier.

I hope you're having a great week so far!

I've noticed and been told my "resting face" tends to look sad or mad for some reason, which is strange because although I can easily get lost in thought, I'm usually a pretty cheerful (or downright goofy) guy! For that reason, I'll sometimes use a slight smile or a playful look in the eyes in photos to try to soften the hard edge, haha... :)

Beautiful candid shots and sensual lighting! Yes, you do look like you were very deep in thought and somewhat sad/lamenting. I hope you enjoyed the experience of the photo shoot. Thanks again for sharing these intimate moments and your observations. Have a great day!
