Sneak Peek: DRL Photography
Added 2023-04-13 02:00:02 +0000 UTCAs mentioned previously, I managed to shoot with three different photographers in December even with the holiday season fast approaching. Prior to that, I had only shot with three total photographers over the course of the whole year. As you can imagine, this was definitely a change of pace for me, especially when I only consider modeling a hobby!
The first shoot of the month was with Ivan Guzman Photography, whose photos I shared recently over several posts. Then, in the second week of December, I shot with the next photographer, DRL Photography, and am excited to now be able to give you a sneak peek at some of the content we created during our collaboration.
For this shoot, the photographer was traveling to work with me specifically, so we decided to meet at an upscale hotel instead of renting studio space. Up until that point, all of my photo shoots had been during daylight hours with most utilizing natural light. For this shoot, however, we would be working at night in a darkened room and I was curious to see how a photographer would work in a low-light situation.
The hotel room itself was much fancier than any I had seen or stayed in before and we utilized both the bathroom and bedroom as backdrops. Believe it or not, we shot over 500 photos in the course of a few hours and I'm now in the process of sorting through them and selecting the best of the best to share with you here.
The month of December definitely ended up being busier than usual for me, but I was glad for the experiences and feel as though the photos from each of the shoots ended up being some of my best yet. In fact, it was the quality of these photos that convinced me I was ready to launch a premium channel like this Patreon.
I'm really looking forward to sharing these new photos in the next few days. I think you'll find them to be strikingly beautiful and unlike anything you've seen from me yet!
