Yurim is still behaving like that because as a top athlete she's highly competitive and she knows Heedo is a danger to her success since she beat her already when they were younger (remember the flashback) and also in training. She thinks fencing is her way to provide for her family so they dont have to be poor anymore. But in order to do that she needs to remain at the top and win many more medals. It doesnt justify the way she acts but in high level sports the pressure can be really high and at a young age some athletes behave this way to deal with the pressure and also because it's easier to hate your rival and beat them rather than having to compete with a friend.

Right now they're platonic, even when they don't realize how romantic some of their actions are. lmao yeah, Heedo promised to tell Yurim if she saw Yijin again after Yurim gave her his pager number. Which is how they could send voice messages to each other. It might've left her mind then, but still a pretty crappy thing for Heedo to not do. Man, rewatching this show always gives me such a better appreciation for Yijin. I always liked him but dude has gone through it. Episodes like this via Heedo and her bf (where he isn't suffering) is such a good contrast to his low moments.

2024-06-04 19:32:25 +0000 UTCwill always be #1 ko yurim defender, i still remember how the ppl on social media took things too seriously that they went on to bona's ig to send hate comments, ppl need to learn how to separate the irl actress and the character they acted as but i take it as that's how you know bona is a really good actress cause ppl got mad at the character ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ also, personally i think yurim has every right to be mad at heedo for not telling her that Yijin is back cause heedo did promise to tell her ragardless whether they hate each others' gut or not
