“Our lock is still here” he’s saying their love is still there, they thought they lost their love but it never left.

It's a black comedy and not a simple comedy for a reason..

Yes, everyone has their own perspective, so how deeply they interpret the character is also up to them. Let's all just enjoy the show and their reaction😊

The last scene where Haein is having a short memory loss again chocked me up fr, the acting was on point as usual. and I couldn't hold back any tear from falling

i dont agree with u on that. and i know u were talking about the inheritance 😭. sorry but if we are realistic and if it wasnt kim soohyun , any other man waiting for his wife to die, and plotting to get the inheritance , would be called a red flag or jst a bad person. now lets stop commenting cause their comment section looks like a literature essay now 😭😂

I'm not saying the part that he wants her to die, it's about inheritance part. I think the part about his attitude toward her illness is understandable, as mentioned above😂

i know u agree with me 😭 but i'v been watching kdramas for like 2 decades and thats the first time a male lead of a kdrama wishes for the female lead who's his wife and who is already the love of his life , to die , sees if she can die faster and wants to take her money 😂😭😭. its really weird like i explained to my sister because she planned to watch it but she was like "what there is no way , u sure thats a kdrama"

I know! I agree with you. But there's probably a cultural difference in the comedy scene, or the extent to people accept the drama. Most of my Korean friends only think that it's okay if ml regrets it later, and no one takes it that seriously😅

thats the thing dighsdifhsd i get what the writer was trying to do but she failed miserably cause a scene being portrayed in a comedy way doesnt take away the content of the scene it actually makes it worse 😭😭

Yeah I think inheritance part was weird for me too😂 but I heard that the writer asked the ml to express the comedy scene well, and based on this, it seems that he just intended a funny scene, but I think the writer just failed to convey the intention due to the situational seriousness of the fl. So I think it's better not to take that part too seriously lol... Besides that part, I think other parts just have different perspectives from person to person, and I don't think his character has a serious flaw that ppl don't understand.

i get what u mean , but i think if its the love of ur life even gaslighting yourself to it, is wild, which i dont think it was , because his reaction after hearing about her dying was instant. that scene where he was looking to see if the pourcentage of survival can go lower is crazy. as soon as u hear the news ur supposed to be heartbroken to say the least. as much as i look for an excuse i cant find one 😭😭. also the inheritance part...when he was trying all along to not be called a gold digger. i think the writing doesnt make sense u know. he did a lot of stuff like hanging with a friend who cant stand his wife and talks in a bad way about her. and we cant put all his mistakes on him gaslighting himself cause thats too easy

I kind of agree with you, but I think he didn't truly want her to "die". He was just gaslighting himself and too focused on "freedom", so I don't think he was aware of the situation exactly when Haein said she was dying. If he really wanted her to die, he wouldn't have saved her in ep2. But of course, I think he was wrong in the way he listened to his friend and rashly decided his feelings.

this man is a red flag for me. wishing for anyone's death and even wishing that it happens faster is trash behavior. let alone when its ur wife. also wanted her money. it just doesnt make sense to me. that he loves her too much and that he's a "good man"but he wanted her to die lmao like for the plot sake the writer messed up and wrote a bunch of stuff that dont make sense. it wouldv been good if he was always that bad and then had a redemption arc. but the way it was done is messy , makes no sense and for me, takes away all the credibility of their relationship. cause he fell in love with her then wanted her to die whats stopping him from doing that in the future again
